About This Game

Shoggoth is a multiplayer (4vs2) stealth game, in which the player takes on the role of a small dragon. With the ability to fly and to morph into items, your mission is either to seek and kill your opponents or to search for keys and escape the level.

Powerful items are randomly scattered throughout the level and will help you reach your goal. The highly interactive environment gives players the chance to search for clues left behind by others.  

Our fully replicated physics and sound system requires the player to traverse the level with great care, as changes in the environment might reveal the player's position.

• multiplayer - Shoggoth leaves plenty of room for player interaction and coordination. The team and map sizes adjust to the number of players. 

• randomly scattered items – Each game will be different.  Most items have a small chance to be of a legendary grade.

• polymorph – The players can morph themselves into common items like chairs, cans, plates, (...) to hide. Every collected item of this type will prolong the time of the polymorph.



• sound – Bernackels' Shoggoth is heavily dependant on sound. If you move too fast, the environment will reveal your position. 

• clues – Any serious impact lets your dragon shriek and bleed.  Changes to the state of the environment (blood, opened doors, switched lights, misplaced items...) may reveal a player's position. 

• flying – The flying system is easy to understand, but hard to master. With the right angle and timing, you might get an advantage over your enemy.

• stealth  – Hiding and sneaking are essential gameplay mechanics. The chances to flee successfully from a hunter are slim.

  I played the demo and beta test this game. Let me tell you its a blast!
  This is the Unreal engine at its best. The graphics and sounds effects are wonderful and the gameplay is intense.
  . Played with some mates - had a blast!

  It's an awesome Game with many intelligent functions and beautiful Graphics. The replayability is strong with this - every round is different and it makes a lot of fun playing it. The atmosphere catches you, so you do feeling like a little Dragon that has to escape and hide or the other way that has to hunt ! Either way it's a lot of fun ! Playing in Group with Friends do has a feeling from the long ago LAN-Partys.
  The Dev's are really nice people you can speak to them if you have any troubles or just want to ask things about the game. If you start playing the game I suggest playing the Tutorial it shows you the many options and possibilities how to play the game, so even if you are an experienced player, just do the tutorial it helps a lot!

  It's constantly keeping you on your toes. Either you are sneaking around collecting items for your protection and looking for keys to get the hell out of there or you are the "Prison guard" placing traps and listening for the movement of your victims to turn those green little dragons into some crisp chicken.
  But going up in flames does not mean it's over. A well placed flashbang, then morph into a cup and throw your pursuer for a loop.
  The visuals are stunning and the mechanics are easy to get hold of. All of this combined makes for an awesome stealth multiplayer game.. Hide, disguise, distract, run and seek, grill and overcome, at first i was a bit confused but once you get the game to know it is real fun to play. One might think it's easier to seek others than to hide, but the game offers a lot of stuff you can do to trick your opponent that it's not as easy as it sounds. Also the developers still improve it and care about bugs. Definitely a funny game and worth it's price. So grab it now or in sale..   Good RPG for 5$.
  Use controller for this for best experience.. I have really enjoyed this old school game with it's depth. it's tactically challenging in a good way and yet you can take your time to think. The story is awesome and rich. Well done!. From the outset, this game looked like it'd be right up my alley: it's a graphically gorgeous RPG with turn-based combat and (for me) enough complexity in its skill\/ability\/talent systems to be interesting without becoming tediously overwhelming. I haven't finished the game yet, but I've been really enjoying it for the ten hours I've played.
  
  The game isn't without its minor annoyances. If you don't have a controller, the controls are a bit weird \u2013 mostly you have to use your keyboard (the cursor won't appear), but in some menus you practically have to use the mouse. You can only rotate the camera in the overworld \u2013 inside a zone the angle you're viewing from is fixed \u2013 which makes it rather annoying to, say, run back to a point of safety in the desert when you only have a limited amount of time and you can't see it. The storyline seems to have a lot of different plot threads (one for each character) all going on at once, but story material on any specific one of them is really light-on, which is a bit underwhelming.
  
  And yet! All I can say is that it's a lot of fun anyway, if you're someone who's a fan of the genre in general. If you can get it on sale (like the 56% off one at the moment), you'll have scored yourself a real bargain.. I have really enjoyed this old school game with it's depth. it's tactically challenging in a good way and yet you can take your time to think. The story is awesome and rich. Well done!. About This Game

Magic is a curse. A plague upon the world and those that live in it. Those that are born with this curse unwittingly sap the mana from the earth they stand in. Remnants of Isolation is a beautiful game, not only in its stunning visuals, but in it's emotional atmosphere and moving narrative. It has themes of love and working together that did more than just bring a smile, but also marry them to its core gameplay mechanics.

Playing a lot of RPG Maker games, Remnant's of Isolation's combat system felt like a slight breath of fresh air. The way mana works in this game and the unique spell chaining\/combo system allows each battle to feel way more engaging than in typical RPGs. Both party members really feel like they are dependent on each other, and it hits you even harder when they get seperated. This is less a nusance and more of a welcome change of pace, however.

If I can name any true flaws this game has, it's mostly technical. There are some areas where the game's framerate drops, though it's not bad enough to impact the experience. I was also personally irked by the lack of fullscreen support.

Regardless, this is nice, short little gem of a game that truly deserved its golden IGMC crown. For those looking for an example of how to do an RPG Maker game right, or just want to play a short, yet sweet romp, then I highly recommend you give this game a shot.. A short but fun RPG. You have two main characters and the girl is silent. She gives enough expression to still make the conversations interactive. A lot of the background story is unfolded by finding notes around the castle.
The battle system is very neat. You have to use the characters together. One to power up and the other to use a spell. Combining different of their abilities causes unique effects. So you have to strategize wisely.
A very interesting game so definitely recommended!. A short little gem. After you realize what you should do with the battle system the combats are no problem.
Overall there are 5 small dungeons and a few boss fights. Also the game has 3 possible endings, no bugs
and it costs next to nothing.. Pretty bland. uses alot of stock RPG maker parts, a generic "silent protagonist" to save time, and you know. lack of writing skills.

actual in game dialogue is like 50 total lines.
actul story dosent exist. hits you with the egeneric "main character is the cause of this" literally immediately after talking about a "heart of the castle" or whatever.

has some specially drawn scenes, like 3 or 4 of them. but they ALL look terrible. my favorite is how the final boss gets his own little intro image. and it looks absolutely nothing like his in game sprite.

literally copies the main castle map from The Fairy, The Succubus, and The Abyss. dosent even TRY to rearange it any.

gameplay is okay, but to grind monsters(which youll never need to do since every enemy can be killed in at most, 2 hits. final boss included.) you have to leave the dugeon and return. game has no balance whatsoever, as soon asyou get tripple triad or whatever the hell its called, its GG. you win.

• New mechanic: Corruption! As your alert level rises the dungeon will start to become corrupted, causing environmental changes as well as instability in the types of enemies that are spawned.
  
• A HUD element that shows the status of the floor's stairs has been added. You can find it under the right side of the alert bar.
  
• Maximum camera distance for boss fights has been increased in controller mode, where it was slightly shorter than in keyboard + mouse mode
  
• Orcish Halls' boss has been made a little less erratic
  
• Hazards can no longer be spawned in narrow hallways

The second, that it's so strongly attuned to co-op that you pretty much HAVE to play co-op. The third, no real settings whatever. About This Game

Ride with your crew of hunters on a quest to kill your god. Use stealth and tactics to overcome the never-ending onslaught of monsters, the manifestations of your god's decay. Manage your scarce resources, venture out with your fellow companions and explore the remnants of the world in search of the means for mankind's survival.


Hunters strike from the shadows, overcoming enemies with their use of tactics, specialized gear and dark arts. In 1 on 1 encounters even a hunter cannot match a beast, but together with others they can achieve great victories. Monsters can detect a hunter's presence by their scent. Observe the wind, avoid being noticed and prepare deadly ambushes! Hunting tools are as important as weapons. Hunters employ the use of some sophisticated technology, as well as dark artifacts.


The world is covered in constant dusk. “Day” and “night” are no longer a thing. The lunar light of the Moon ceaselessly illuminates the dark like a grim reminder of the curse. The god is no longer with us and the Nature is now the main enemy for the mankind. Crowded cities are filled with people, as these places are the last bastions of hope. Citizens still wait for a certain death, having an illusion of security and safety. Constant waves of dark creatures destroyed most of the civilization’s work.
